Soon, after investigating the painting, they investigate the crime scene, the rest of Tangle Tower and its inhabitants to solve the case. Detective Grimoire made the false assumption that the painting stabbed Freya which annoy Sally. What made the case unique was the painting itself as it look like the subject of the painting, Flora Fellow, the matriarch of the Fellow family, was holding a bloody knife with the red substance on the 'knife' is blood.
